On December 14, Bollywood actor Shreyas Talpade suffered a heart attack. It was reported that the actor complained of feeling discomfort after he returned from Welcome To The Jungle's shoot. By the time the actor was rushed to the hospital, he had suffered a heart attack and collapsed. Following the same, Shreyas underwent angioplasty. As of now, the actor is doing fine. His wife, Deepti Talpade, has shared the actor's health update.
Shreyas Talpade 'smiled' this morning
Shreyas Talpade's wife, Deepti, told the Bombay Times that her husband is better now. She added that the actor has been recovering well and his surgery went fine. "He looked at us and smiled this morning. That was relieving for all of us. He will himself talk to you in a few days," she told the publication.
A day after Shreyas was hospitalised, Deepti issued an official statement about the actor's health. She assured everyone that her husband would be discharged in a few days.
"Dear friends and media, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming concern and well-wishes following the recent health scare my husband experienced. I'm relieved to update everyone that he is now in stable condition and will be discharged in a few days," a part of her statement read.
Bobby Deol on Shreyas Talpade's health
Yesterday, in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, actor Bobby Deol revealed Shreyas' heart stopped for 10 minutes after the heart attack. However, the doctors were able to revive him and perform an angioplasty.
As per media reports, Shreyas was completely fine the entire day he shot for Welcome To The Jungle. He was joking around with everyone on the set. However, the actor felt uneasy upon returning home and collapsed on his way to the hospital.
