Shruti Das buys a house in Kolkata, calls it a ‘dream come true’ moment

Actress Shruti Das came to Kolkata from Katwa in 2019 with lots of dreams. Now she is a well-known star. She debuted on television with the serial Trinayani. She then went through many ups and downs and at last, found her man. She got married to director Swarnendu Samaddar. Now, another of her dreams was fulfilled on Friday. Till now, she lived in a rented flat in Kolkata. She recently bought a property. The housewarming rituals took place on Friday. Shruti was emotional after setting foot in her new house. She posted several photos on her social media. Her husband Swarnendu bought another flat at the same place. 

Shruti told Anandabazar Online, “I lived in a rented property. I worked hard. I lived in messes and as a paying guest. It feels fabulous that I could make a house for my parents. My husband (Swarnendu) also bought another flat at the same place. His flat is on the second floor and mine is on the first floor. I had a long wish that I would keep my parents with me. The sweet thing is, my parental home and in-laws' home are one floor apart. My wish was fulfilled by God's grace.” 

People used to see Shruti as Ranga Bou. The serial ended recently. Shruti is now busy decorating her new place. She will start permanently living there next March.
