Actress Shruti Das, who became a household name with her series of television works like Trinayani, is also known to be devoted to her husband director Swarnendu Samadder. On his birthday, the actress took to her social media to post a loving and respectful message for her husband.

On her husband Swarnendu Samadder’s birthday, actress Shruti Das sent a special message on Instagram where she touched on a burning issue that has created a stir in the entertainment industry. Shruti said, “Today is that trusted director’s birthday, with whom the female artists and technicians are safe in this eroding society. I feel proud to hear that if Swarnada does not come to the studio, is on the floor, or takes the shot, then people feel sad. Happy birthday, Babi. I love you and I am proud of you.”

Shruti further wrote, “I don’t write often nowadays about you. But I can’t help on special days. Babi, people say that I am with you because I am greedy. Though they mean otherwise, I am truly greedy. Rather than money, I am greedy to get the company of achievers, learn from them, and enrich myself. And if he is my husband, is it unnatural for me to be greedy?”

Since the start of their relationship, Shruti has been trolled on social media due to their age gap. People trolled her by saying that she was in a relationship to get work and money. They got married in 2023. However, the trolls did not fully stop, as was indicated in this post.

Shruti also wrote ‘Today, I gave you my word that I love you very much and I will proudly talk and write about you till my last day. Again, happy birthday to my husband. Let me say it again. My husband.’

Tollywood is buzzing with women’s harassment. Director Arindam Sil has been suspended by the Directors’ Guild. Complaints against him have been lodged in the police station also. Arup Biswas, on behalf of the Federation, said that most of the accusations are against directors and producers.
