Shruti Haasan has bid an emotional goodbye to team Salaar as she completes shooting for her portions in the film. She took to social media a short while ago to share an endearing picture that also includes her director Prashanth Neel and Salaar's Director of Photography, Bhuvan Gowda and also penned a sweet note for the core team alongside.

"AND it鈥檚 a wrap on SALAAR for me 馃枻馃Э Thankyou Prashant sir for making me your aadya.. you are exceptional ..Thankyou @actorprabhas for being beyond wonderful the absolute darling and @bhuvanphotography for just being so kind and being you .. @hombalefilms it was lovely working on this special film with ALL of the team that was filled with positivity and truly felt like family by the end of it 鉂わ笍馃Э so grateful," she wrote in the post.

Fans and followers were charmed by her note and many wished to see more of her in the film, which is slated to release on September 28th, 2023. Some of them even urged her to pull out a picture of Prabhas and share it with them!

Shruti plays Aadya in the film and the first look of her character was unveiled a few months ago on the occasion of her birthday. Although team Salaar has divulged very little about her role in the movie, the early glimpses and the overall 'look' of the character suggest that she plays a strong-willed, independent woman in the film. Salaar is a bona fide action film and looks dominated by the male cast that includes Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, and several others. However, films producer Vijay Kirangadur reveals that Shruti Haasan holds her own in the film and that she, too, boasts a few action sequences to her name.

"Our heroine (Shruti Haasan) has her own share of action sequences and she isn't there just to "add glamour". She has an important role," said Kirangadur in his recent conversation with a popular Hindi daily.

Through Salaar, a bilingual, Shruti Haasan also makes her Kannada debut and the film also marks her maiden collaboration with Prabhas. The actress has shared timely updates from the sets and has referred a bunch of times to her co-star's magnanimity, especially his fondness to spoil his colleagues with food.
