Shyam Singha Roy, actor Nani's second release (after Tuck Jagadish) in 2021, where he co-stars Sai Pallavi, Krithi Shetty and Madonna Sebastian, is all set to hit theatres on December 24, the eve of Christmas, across four languages - Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil. The actor who hinted at a big announcement about Shyam Singha Roy today, confirmed the same through his social media handle with a poster, where he's seen holding Sai Pallavi and the two are intensely looking at each other amid the backdrop of a temple.
The multi-generation romance is the third film of director Rahul Sankrityan. The film is set across multiple timelines, of which Sai Pallavi is paired opposite him for the segment set in Kolkata. The fact that the makers of Shyam Singha Roy, Niharika Entertainments, are releasing the film across four languages, says enough about the confidence they have in their product, shot amid rough weather conditions after the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, wrapping its shoot few weeks ago. Nani has time and again asserted that the film's universal plot is sure to find takers among all audiences.
The popularity of Sai Pallavi, Krithi Shetty, Madonna should certainly work to the team's advantage for it's multi-lingual release plan. The film, that's supposedly high on VFX, is currently in its last leg of post production. Rahul Ravindran, Murali Sharma, Abhinav Gomatam, Jishu Sen Gupta, Leela Samson, Manish Wadwa and Barun Chanda are cast in supporting roles in the same. Satyadev Janga has written the story, while Mickey J Meyer is scoring the music. Cinematographer Sanu John Varghese, production designer Avinash Kolla and stunt director Ravi Varma are also associated with the high-profile project.
