Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa 2 which was released last week, has been storming at the box office without showing any signs of stoppage to enter the Rs 1000 crore club. The film, although Telugu by origin, has been witnessing a massive reach in the Hindi market as well. It is also one of the reasons why the film's one of the pre-release events took place in Patna, Bihar. However, actor Siddharth has a different take on Pushpa's crowd-pulling factor. Here is what he has to say.

Siddharth trolled for his comments on Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 Patna event

Siddharth, whose film Miss You is gearing up for release on December 13, recently took part in a talk show hosted by YouTuber Madan Gowri. The actor, who is known for his candid and straightforward statements, was asked about his thoughts on how Pushpa 2 had managed to pull the crowds in Patna, Bihar, even as the film was made by the Telugu industry. Siddharth however said that the crowd-pulling factor is not a standard and that anyone can do it.

“That is also marketing. Crowd gathering is not a new thing in India. Even if you have a JCB around, a crowd is formed. So, it is not a big deal that a crowd gathered in Patna, if a stage is put. They have a song, and the film, and that's okay. If crowd is a big deal, then every political party must win,” Siddharth said.

Pushpa 2, starring Allu Arjun, has become a box office success and is nearing to enter the Rs 1000 crore club worldwide. With Siddharth's comments going viral, fans of Allu Arjun began to troll the Chithha actor. Netizens have come in defence of Allu Arjun and his film, as they called out Siddharth's views on downgrading Pushpa 2.
