Sidharth Malhotra all set to team up with Dinesh Vijan? Here’s what we know

Readers may recall that, in the month of June this year, we had written about filmmaker Dinesh Vijan (who happens to be the founder of the production firm Maddock Films) had announced a super strong line up of as many as 15 films! We had also written that the shooting of nine of them had already been finished while the new six movies were in the pre-production stages. The latest update about the filmmaker Dinesh Vijan is that, he has now signed Sidharth Malhotra for one of his projects.

As per a source-based news report in Pinkvilla, filmmaker Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films, has now signed Sidharth Malhotra for his upcoming project. The news report added that he was in talks with Janhvi Kapoor for the same film, which is reported to be a thriller and that the said film will be going on floors by the first quarter of 2024.

If the said pairing takes shape, then, the film (which is so far untitled) will see the first time pairing of Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor. The report also added that the film would be a screenplay-driven script in totality with twists and turns. As for the name of the film’s director, it is still being kept under the wraps and will be revealed, when the time is right for the makers of the film to reveal the name of the director.

Besides this film, Sidharth Malhotra will be seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Yoddha’ and Rohit Shetty’s ‘Indian Police Force’. As for Janhvi Kapoor, she is now all gearing up for her film ‘Devara’. The said film will be releasing in two parts and will star Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan, besides Janhvi Kapoor. The film is being directed by Koratala Siva, whose first part will be releasing April 5 next year.
