Sidharth Malhotra and Rohit Shetty collaborate for the first time in a cop action-drama series. The filmmaker has already begun filming for the upcoming web show. Meanwhile, in the latest social media post, the Indian director hints at an official announcement of the project tomorrow. 

Rohit took to his official social media handle and shared an image of Siddharth in a police officer's uniform. The Instagram caption reads, "Action begins tomorrow at 11:00 AM! #NowFilming @primevideoin @sidmalhotra (sic)."

The upcoming action-drama has been helmed for a digital release on Amazon Prime Video. 

According to an earlier report on Pinkvilla, a source closer to the development has informed the portal that both filmmaker and actor have been discussing the project for a while for the web show. While now the Rohit has made it official with Siddharth.

Meanwhile, according to an earlier report on Midday, Rohit and his team started working on the script for the Siddharth starrer show soon after the release of Sooryavanshi which stars Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh.

The talented filmmaker serves as the director, writer and producer of the forthcoming series.

The filmmaker is also busy with his highly anticipated project, Cirkus. The upcoming comedy film stars Ranveer Singh in a double role. Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez will also be seen in major roles, while the movie also has a huge ensemble including Varun Sharma, Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee, Vijay Patkar, Sulbha Arya, Mukesh Tiwari, Anil Charanjeett, Ashwini Kalsekar and Murli Sharma in supporting roles.

Meanwhile, Sidharth is also gearing up for some of the much-awaited films such as Mission Majnu, Thank God and Yodha.
