Sidharth Malhotra-Kiara Advani to start shooting for Shashank Khaitan’s romantic comedy sooner than you think

Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani collaborated for Shershaah. The movie became a hit and they got married. Ever since, the two have been wanting to collaborate but there has been no confirmed update on the same. Now, it looks like they will start shooting for a romantic-comedy, helmed by Dulhania franchise director Shashank Khaitan, sooner than you can think.

A report on BollywoodLife states that the recently married couple is finally ready to come back on screen and will commence shoot for the film soon. They quoted a source saying that the couple will start their workshop for the untitled film in July. The movie is likely to go on floors in August i.e. three months from now.

It is very likely that the makers will shoot for a promo with the actors around July and release the first glimpse of the movie then. They are likely to announce the shooting date through the first glimpse of the film.

Sidharth and Kiara have actually signed a three-film-deal with Shashank. The director previously worked with Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. Both the movies were welcomed with a lot of love and Sidharth-Kiara’s project is expected to be on similar lines.

When previously asked about working together, Sidharth had said that he and Kiara definitely want to collaborate again after Shershaah but in good time. The actor has three other projects lined up for 2023, including Yodha and Rohit Shetty’s Indian Police Force.

Kiara, on the other hand, has wrapped up SatyaPrem Ki Katha and is ready to make an announcement related to the film very soon. The movie will release on June 29 and then, Kiara will mostly shift her focus to the movie with her husband, Sidharth.
