Sidharth Malhotra collaborated with Disha Patani for the first time on a film. The actors shared screen space in Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre's film Yodha, which was released in theatres on March 15, 2024. Recently, the makers of Yodha shared a making video of Sidharth and Disha's action sequence in an aeroplane's cockpit. The actor shared his experience of doing hand-to-hand combat with an actress for the first time. He also called his co-star Disha a '"tough cookie to crack".

Why is Disha Patani a 'tough cookie to crack'?

Dharma Productions shared the making video of Sidharth and Disha's action sequence on Instagram. In the video, the actor can be seen saying that his co-star plays a very hardcore character in Yodha. Sidharth added, "Disha is extremely fit and agile. She regularly practices kicks and punches, so she is a tough cookie to crack."

On the other hand, Disha said that the best part about playing Laila in Yodha is that she is completely "negative". "Kicking in a saree was the most iconic moment for me. We had so much fun physically fighting with each other." Her co-star Sidharth also mentioned that people will find a fresh combination of a hero and heroine fighting in the plane cockpit.

Sidharth Malhotra on fighting inside an aeroplane's restroom in Yodha

Earlier, Sidharth Malhotra shared his experience of fighting inside an aeroplane's restroom. The actor found it challenging as he has long arms. "I am not the shortest of men. So, in the scene, I and the other character (villain) are cramped up in an aeroplane toilet. I have long arms. So, if I stretch my arms, I could hit the wall," he said.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Sidharth and Disha's film Yodha will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video after its theatrical run ends. However, the makers have not announced the official release date yet. Besides the two actors, the star cast includes Raashii Khanna, Tanuj Virwani, and Ronit Roy.
