Two names making headlines constantly are Anurag Kashyap and Ekta Kapoor. They each have come up with a new project/collaboration and have been taking over the week. While Kashyap's Stolen, featuring Abhishek Banerjee, is out on OTT, Ekta Kapoor's Balaji collaborated with Netflix and surprised all with the big move. In the midst of it all, Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia's Vvan, also produced under Balaji, went on floors.
Tamannaah Bhatia teased her fans about Vvan by sharing how she was given clear directions to be on the sets of Vvan. It was through the Vvan poster with a sign guiding her to the sets. Sidharth Malhotra, on the other hand, shared the photo of a clapperboard in which we get to know that the movie has just gone on floors with the first take, and it begins with scene number 55.

Anurag Kashyap had lashed out at Netflix CEO Ted Laransos for his comment on wishing to delay Sacred Games release in India. Kashyap called him perfect for saas-bahu, thus hinting at the recent collaboration with Balaji. Ekta did not hold back either as she asked the filmmaker to be self-aware and have some dignity before calling others dumb.
Vvan brings the superhit Ek Villain duo Ekta Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra back. Tamannaah was confirmed as the lead actress recently. The film is set around a cursed forest. The roles of the lead actors and other cast members are currently kept under the wraps. The movie is expected to release in theatres on May 15, 2026.
