Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s Shershaah has been receiving lauds across the globe. Based on the life of Kargil war-hero Captain Vikram Batra, the Vishnuvardhan directorial has become the no. 1 Hindi movie on IMDb with a rating of 8.8. The lead actor is on the ninth cloud after witnessing his film top the Indian films around the globe.

Sidharth shared the exciting news through his Instagram handle and captioned, “Feeling on the #Top of the world, literally. Thank you to everyone for making this happen. This is for all of you who are showering love and support for #Shershaah and are making it so special and memorable for us (sic).”

Meanwhile, on Thursday, Kiara shared an emotional video on Instagram that shares glimpses of the making of the film and wrote thankyou notes to Captain Vikram Batra and his girlfriend Dimple Cheema in the caption. Mentioning the late war hero’s name, the actress thanked him and also wrote that his personality and bravery are inspiring. While writing about Dimple, she mentioned that it’s an honour to know and portray a woman so courageous and committed in the film. The actress also thanked Dimple for sharing her personal story.
