Tamannaah Bhatia was recently confirmed as the leading lady in Sidharth Malhotra's Vvan, but good news just doesn't seem to follow the movie. While netizens were already upset that the confirmation was with the help of an AI video and Devi 2 actress Tamannaah's face also wasn't revealed, there just might be more bad news. The movie, based on the mysterious forest in India, might get delayed to 2026. That's right, it might not be able to keep the schedule promised - November 2025 release. Here's everything we know about it...

Vvan release delayed?

Vvan's release could be delayed to 2026, a source confirmed to PeepingMoon. The movie was originally scheduled for Chhath Puja release in November 2025, but it might be pushed to 2026. This is likely owing to production delays.

The movie would go on floors six months after it was originally planned. Although it was supposed to begin filming already, the film would go on floors not before June, according to the portal. Sara Ali Khan's abrupt exit and Jabariya Jodi actor Sidharth Malhotra's commitment to Param Sundari are attributed to be some reasons for the delay.

Tamannaah Bhatia confirmed as Vvan female lead recently

The makers had shared a video in which they tagged Tamannaah Bhatia and welcomed her into the world of Vvan. With this, the female lead of the film was finally confirmed. However, the announcement video did not sit well since netizens found that the edit was with the help of AI and Tamannaah was not actually a part of the clip.
