One year has passed since Sidharth Shukla passed away. His untimely death shocked his friends, co-workers, and millions of fans. As it's the death anniversary of Sidharth on September 2, let's look at what his fellow Bigg Boss 13 contestant and co-star Rashami Desai had to say about him after his passing.
Rashami was absolutely distraught upon hearing of Sidharth's death. When the actress learned of Sidharth's passing, she immediately cancelled all of the promotions for her music video. Although going through a lot of hardship in her career, she never compromised her work obligations.
Rashami has previously revealed to The Times of India how significant Sidharth was to her. She added, "Sidharth was special. We fought, we had disagreements, but at the end of the day, we had a good friendship and cared for each other. I can't say much, but this time I couldn't keep going. I planned to not be part of any promotion activities for the song. I am lucky that our producer, Shahzeb Azad, understood my situation and allowed me to grieve."
Rashami shared a number of old photos of the late actor after Sidharth passed away on September 2, 2021. Her Instagram caption said, "Sometimes life gets complicated, but today was a reminder that there’s something bigger than all of us. Words don’t make sense anymore. My heart breaks as I type this—rest in peace. #SidharthShukla Om Shanti."
On the other hand, Sidharth and Rashami have been involved in several conflicts while competing on Bigg Boss 13. Nonetheless, their complex connection also allowed spectators to witness their romantic affinity and the level of ease they had with one another. They had collaborated in Dil Se Dil Tak, and even as time went on, speculations of their developing romance spread.
