Sidharth Shukla ne mujhe bahut kareeb se jaana hai: Rashami Desai

Rashami Desai shared a very interesting bond with Sidharth Shukla, who became the most loved face after winning Bigg Boss 13 trophy. Co-incidentally, Rashami and Sidharth were face-to-face even on the show. Now, the actress spoke about the late actor and said that she knew Sidharth very closely and vice-versa.

Rashami was talking to BBC Hindi, when she explained her bond with Sidharth even before Bigg Boss 13 happened to them. For the uninitiated, the two were the main leads in Dil Se Dil Tak. Back then, it was rumoured that Rashami and Sidharth were dating. They had a major fallout, after which he walked out of the show. Even on Bigg Boss 13, Rashami had tried to ignore Sidharth and eventually, fought with him time-and-again there too.

Since the two had such a major fallout, Rashami was tagged ‘fake’ for showing up to pay her respects to Sidharth after his demise in 2021. The actress has now hit back saying she became almost heartless by that time.

Rashami recalled the time when she worked on Dil Se Dil Tak with the late actor. “Usne mujhe bohot kareeb se jaana hai aur main usse kareeb se jaanti thi toh hame ek dusre ko kaafi sari cheezein pata thi,” the actress shared.

Last seen in Naagin 6, Rashami recalled how she faced her personal problems very publicly on Bigg Boss 13. Host Salman Khan had stated that her then-boyfriend Arhaan Khan was already married and had a son. Rashami was completely unaware about that and the point which irked her the most is that his family was staying in her house while she was on the show and of course, she wasn’t aware about that either.

Sidharth tried to show his support for Rashami on Bigg Boss 13 nonetheless and even came to Bigg Boss 15 as a guest, which Rashami also became a part of as a contestant. On the show, Rashami was being linked to Umar Riaz for quite some time but the two have now accepted that they are only friends.

Rashami spoke about Sidharth and said that she fought with the late actor because of a very different reason. The actress also appreciated him a little by calling him a 10-year-old kid in a massive body, who lived life on his own terms and conditions.
