Sidharth Shukla on his Broken But Beautiful 3 character: I could relate to Agastya

Love is in the air since Alt Balaji's web series Broken But Beautiful 3 is gearing up to begin streaming on May 29. The much-anticipated romantic drama series stars Sidharth Shukla and Sonia Rathee as the leading couple.

Sidharth is already a reigning heartthrob and one of the most prominent faces of Indian daily soaps. With shows like Balika Vadhu, Dil Se Dil Tak among others, he has become a household name among the Indian masses. The actor has also successfully showcased his talent in Indian reality shows like 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6', 'Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi' and also holds the winning title of the popular reality show Bigg Boss S13.

Talking about his digital debut with a complicated character like Agastya, Sidharth said in a statement, “As an actor, there are some who look towards method acting. For me, I could really relate to Agastya and I feel life is all about experiences. It's those experiences that make you. I have had many similar experiences and hence I reflected on mine and I performed.”

The official synopsis of Broken But Beautiful 3 talks about the relationship of Agastya Rao and Rumi Desai — who are poles apart in every aspect. They say that opposites attract. Perhaps that’s why they both fall in love with each other, but their obsession with their dreams breaks them apart.

Directed by Priyanka Ghose, the series also features Ehan Bhat, Jahanvi Dhanrajgir, Manvir Singh, Taniya Kalra & Saloni Khanna in pivotal roles. Broken But Beautiful 3 will drop on MX Player along with Alt Balaji on May 29.
