Sikandar box office collection day 7: That there is a Salman Khan movie releasing on Eid 2025, after the actor skipped his favorite release window last year, was one of the most exciting things about this new year. However, when Sikandar hit the big screen on March 30, the buzz did not completely replicate at the box office, as it opened to very lukewarm numbers. The movie opened to a very middling figure of Rs 26 crore, which is not great for a Salman Khan movie that has released on Eid. Now, as it wraps up the first week at the box office, the movie has shown another upsetting sign, as it has not even managed to cross the Rs 100 crore mark domestically.

Sikandar Box Office Update

Salman Khan starrer Sikandar is directed by AR Murugadoss and backed by Sajid Nadiadwala. The movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna in the leading role and was in the making for a long while. The film was made at a reported Rs 200 crore budget and, after a lot of anticipation, hit the big screen last week. Now, as the movie completes 7 days at the box office, the collections have not been showing a great sign, as the film continues to stay in single digits and that too below the Rs 5 crore mark. As per Sacnilk, on the seventh day of its release, Sikandar has managed to earn around Rs 3.75 crore, which is almost the same as what it earned on the sixth day of release. This takes the overall domestic collection of the movie to Rs 97.50 crore, which is a very worrisome thing. To give you a perspective, Tiger 3, Salman’s last Eid release, which is touted as a decent Eid performer, had crossed the Rs 200 crore mark on day 6 and was still strong on day 7. The movie will have to pull off some magic today, as it now faces its second Sunday since release.
