While trade analysts are usually people who predict Box Office collection for movies, this time it was a lead actor making the prediction. Salman Khan, who was at Sikandar trailer launch held last night, has made a bold prediction for his upcoming movie. The actor dissed Rs. 100 crore club and predicted that his film will cross Rs. 200 crores at the Box Office. The only movie to go beyond the mark in 2025 so far is Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava. And the film has crossed Rs. 500 crores at the Box Office already.

Salman Khan and his fans confident of Sikandar's 200 crore Box Office opening because of Eid release
Although Salman Khan's fans are sure about Sikandar because it is an Eid release, he is certain that his fans would help the movie cross Rs. 200 crore. "Eid, Diwali, New Year, festive, non-festive, it’s the love of the people and picture acchi ho ya buri ho, wo sau (Rs 100 crore) toh paar kara hi dete hain. Rs 100 crore bohot pehle ki baat hain," he said at the trailer launch.

Salman was probably speaking in reference to Tiger 3, which received a lukewarm response overall. The movie earned Rs. 282.79 crore at the Box Office. However, it is to be noted that the budget of the film itself was Rs. 300 crore.
However, every Salman movie which released since 2021 struggled at the Box. His initial films like Antim (2021) and Radhe (2021) earned Rs. 58.5 crore and Rs. 18.33 crore respectively. Salman's Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan also did not enter Rs. 200 crore and minted only Rs. 184.6 crores, that too worldwide.
About Sikandar
Sikandar, which marks Salman Khan's first-time collaboration with AR Murugadoss as well as Rashmika Mandanna, will be a Sunday release rather than the usual Friday release. This is keeping in mind that Eid falls on a Monday (March 31). The Sajid Nadiadwala produced movie also stars Kajal Aggarwal in a pivotal role.
