Every time Shah Rukh Khan steps into the spotlight, critics and audiences alike laud his acting chops, which he has honed over his legendary career. Taking front stage in Devdas by Sanjay Leela Bhansali was one of his most acclaimed acting roles. With supporting performers such as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Jackie Shroff, and Kirron Kher, Shah Rukh brilliantly portrayed the dangerous role of Devdas. The film's assistant director, Kirron Kher's son Sikandar Kher, recently gave an interview in which he reminisced about his time on set.
Kher reminisced about his days on Devdas in a featured appearance on the Tape A Tale YouTube channel. Just as with all of Bhansali's projects, he remembers mentioning that he wanted to document the film's production because it was a major motion picture with a lot of anticipation. He remarked that people have a hard time getting people excited about their films, but the filmmaker can take his time making the film, and people will constantly be talking about it.

Kher ended up shooting 22 hours of footage using Shah Rukh's awesome setup—a handycam with many lenses and a tripod—because he was having trouble obtaining one. He revealed that he used night vision on her camera to capture the moment when the superstar injured his finger while shattering bottles.
Repeating his earlier compliments, he went on to say that Shah Rukh was wonderful. From what Kher has observed in his work, he is the most generous actor he has ever encountered. Everyone he has talked to about working with says he's the most incredible person to have on set. To make the scene work, SRK will even offer them his own lines because he is that confident in himself.
Even when filming Devdas was underway, Shah Rukh's commitment was praised by others. According to Vikramaditya Motwane, the superstar would put honey on his face to make it look like a dying man would be attracting flies. The man's mind is constantly formulating ways to improve the experience. Shah Rukh is the one on the right and the little things he does in films have a big impact. The filmmaker also told The Lallantop that King Khan has a way of making everyone feel like a VIP.
Recent films starring Sikandar Kher, such as Monica O My Darling (2022) and Monkey Man (2024), have shown his acting prowess. He most recently appeared in the web series Chidiya Udd, co-starring Flora Saini and Jackie Shroff.
