Salman Khan was recently seen in Sikandar, which hit theaters on March 30, 2025. Directed by AR. Murugadoss the action drama failed to impress the audience and also underperformed at the box office. The story revolves around Sikander (Salman Khan), who gets into a fight with a corrupt minister and his son after a personal incident. After its theatrical run, the film is all set to land on an OTT platform.

The story of the film revolves around Sanjay Rajkot (Salman Khan), a man known as Sikandar, who is a benevolent ruler and protector of the common people. A corrupt minister and his spoiled son clash with Sikandar, leading to a series of events that force Sikandar to confront the system. The film is packed with action, drama, and emotional depth, as Sikander faces challenges and fights for the rights of the underprivileged.

Talking about the Twitter reactions for the film, it received mixed responses. One fan wrote, "@ARMurugadoss you have cooked yak curd rice @BeingSalmanKhan bhai please take your own time take rest and once you feel your health is all fine you are back into shape then come back and do a movie we can wait but it hurts when we see you in such condition."

Several fans claimed that the plot felt repetitive and had the 'most senseless scene.'
