Sikandar: 'Salman Khan doesn't worry about camera angles or his look,' reveals cinematographer S Thirunavukarasu

Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming project, Sikandar. This film marks his first collaboration with filmmaker AR Murugadoss. The action-drama, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, is scheduled to release on Eid 2025. Days before its theatrical release, cinematographer S Thirunavukarasu has shared his experience working with Salman. Unlike other superstars, he reflected on how Salman doesn't worry much about camera angles or his look.

In an interview with Mid-Day, S Thirunavukarasu revealed what it is like working with superstar Salman Khan on a film set. The cinematographer, who worked with Khan on Kyon Ki, was happy to reunite with him. He mentioned that Salman's ability to come alive in front of the camera is unparalleled.

The Sikandar cinematographer called Salman 'one of the finest actors'. "He has a truthful way of emoting. There were moments during filming when I told him, ‘Just be yourself; it’s far more powerful than acting.’ One of his unique qualities is that he doesn’t worry about camera angles, lighting, or his look—something that most stars are usually concerned about," he told the tabloid.

He further revealed that Salman trusts the cinematographer completely. And he enjoyed working with Salman, considering the level of trust. S Thirunavukarasu further spoke about working with AR Murugadoss' Sikandar after S Shankar's Game Changer.

"His main requirement was handling the film’s emotional depth. Sikandar captures the essence of true love and humanity, reflected through Salman, who is known for his philanthropy. At its core, it’s an entertainer with a social issue," he added.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Sikandar is scheduled for theatrical release on Eid 2025. Also starring Rashmika Mandanna, Prateik Babbar and Sathyaraj, the film's teaser was recently released online. The makers also dropped a Holi song, Bam Bam Bhole, featuring Salman and Rashmika.
