Salman Khan Wraps Up Sikandar

Salman Khan’s highly anticipated film Sikandar has officially completed shooting, sending fans into a frenzy of excitement. The superstar recently finished the final leg of filming in Mumbai alongside co-star Rashmika Mandanna, director A.R. Murugadoss, and producer Sajid Nadiadwala. The biggest highlight of the day was Salman shaving off his beard—a look he had maintained throughout the shoot—to mark the film’s wrap. A source close to the production revealed, "It was a patchwork sequence between Salman and Rashmika in Bandra, and the team wrapped up filming around 8:30 PM. Right after the shoot, Salman shaved off his beard, which he had been keeping for his role in Sikandar. In real life, Salman always prefers a clean-shaven look." Sikandar was shot over a span of 90 days across multiple locations, including Mumbai, Hyderabad, and other parts of India. During production, the team filmed four songs—three of which are high-energy dance numbers—alongside five intense action sequences.

"Sikandar is designed for the big screen, incorporating classic Murugadoss elements like romance, politics, drama, and revenge, all complementing the grand action sequences. The makers are now focused on post-production, adding the finishing touches to prepare the film for its big Eid 2025 release," the source added.

While the principal photography for Sikandar was completed in January, Salman, Rashmika, and the team shot some additional patchwork scenes and a promotional song in February and March. "The editing is locked, and work is underway on color grading, VFX, and background score. The final prints of Sikandar will be ready in the next five days, officially marking the countdown to its theatrical release," the source concluded.
