The excitement surrounding Salman Khan's upcoming film with AR Murugadoss is building high since reports of the actor resuming the shoot have surfaced. Now, another exciting piece of news from the sets of Sikandar has emerged, and it's about a new addition to the Sikandar family. If reports are to be believed, Sharman Joshi will be joining Salman Khan's star-studded film. Yes, you read that right! After Rashmika Mandanna, Pratik Babbar, and Kajal Aggarwal, the makers have roped in Sharman Joshi for the film.
Pinkvilla, in their reports, quoted a source saying, “Sharman and Salman share a very unique dynamic in Sikandar, and the former has already started shooting for his part in the film. He has been present on the set throughout and plays a key catalyst in Sikandar’s journey. The film marks the first proper collaboration between Salman and Sharman, and the audience is in for a treat to see them share a special bond.”
Reportedly, the makers are currently working on a 45-day shooting schedule in Mumbai, for which a giant set replicating Dharavi has been created. After finishing their Mumbai schedule, the team will jet off to Hyderabad, where they will move to a palace for another leg of shooting.
Salman, who is filming Sikandar, recently went through a rib injury, but this didn't stop him from working. The makers are ensuring that the actor’s health is taken care of while he shoots. When Salman Khan went to shoot a promo for the upcoming reality show Bigg Boss 18, he confirmed his rib injury while talking to a paparazzo.
Salman Khan, who will be seen leading Sikandar, is collaborating with Sajid Nadiadwala after their previous successful collaborations in Kick, Judwaa, and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. Sikandar is all set to hit theatres next Eid. Apart from Sikandar, Salman will be seen sharing screen space with King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, in Tiger vs Pathaan. An official announcement regarding the project is still awaited.
