Actor Silambarasan has completed dubbing for his portions for Gautham Menon's upcoming film Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu. The actor shared a picture of himself from the dubbing studio and announced that it was a wrap for his portions. The film is said to revolve around the life of youngster and Silambarasan has shed some weight for his character in the film. His new look and the actor's body transformation has been lauded by one and all. Siddhi Idnani plays the leading lady in the action drama. The supporting cast includes Radikaa Sarathkumar, Siddique, Neeraj Madhav, Aangelina Abraham to name a few.
Music for the film is by AR Rahman. The first single Kaalathukkum Nee Venum, with lyrics penned by Thamarai, was released earlier. The song has been sung by Silambarasan TR and Rakshita Suresh. The film marks the fourth collaboration between Gautham Menon and Silambarasan TR. They had earlier worked together in Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya, Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada and the short film, Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn. As of AR Rahman, this is the fourth time he sis scoring music for Silambarasan's film, after Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada and Chekka Chivantha Vaanam. Cinematography for the film is by Siddhartha Nuni and editing is by Anthony.
Silambarasan has began working on films after a month-long break as he was busy with his father T Rajendher's medical treatment in the US. We hear that actor has also begun shooting for his long-delayed Pathu Thala, directed by Obeli S Krishna. The film is a remake of the Kannada film, Mufti, and has Silambarasan and Gautham Karthik sharing screen space for the first time. Priya Bhavani Shankar plays the leading lady in it.
