Simbu, the singer too is a big hit with the Bullet song from Ram Pothineni’s The Warriorr

Purists may not be happy with the fact that actors are stealing the limelight away from conventional musicians by crooning for film songs. However, one has to digest the hard fact that numbers do the talking in the film industry over quality. In the recent past, the decision to rope in actor Simbu to sing a number for Ram Pothineni’s bilingual The Warriorr has worked wonders for the team.

Bullet song may not be high quality art or even memorable, but like most Devi Sri Prasad numbers, it’s peppy, groovy, has catchy lyrics and is instantly likeable. While it may have been just another regular song if it were rendered by a playback singer, the fact that Simbu is the singer pushes us to take note of it. Needless to say, Ram Pothineni and Krithi Shetty’s dancing skills need no introduction, the latter is even a classical dancer.

So, it’s not exactly surprising why the Telugu and Tamil versions of the song have surpassed the 6 million mark on Youtube. Additionally, the song is even trending in YouTube's Global Top Music. Apart from the kickass teaser released by the makers recently, The Warriorr has consistently hogged the limelight for the Bullet song over the last few weeks.

The Warriorr, helmed by popular filmmaker N Lingusamy, also stars Nadhiya, Aadhi Pinisetty in key roles. The film, slated to release on July 14, is produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner, while Pavan Kumar is the presenter. Akshara Gowda will also be seen in an extended cameo.
