Singham Again - Ajay Devgn shoots fight sequence on Byculla streets for Rohit Shetty's film?

Singham Again is one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Featuring Ajay Devgn in the lead role, it is the third installment of Rohit Shetty's popular cop franchise. The action drama is set for a theatrical release on Independence Day 2024. Ahead of that, Ajay reportedly shot for an action sequence in Mumbai. The actor shot through the night for Singham Again alongside his co-stars Shweta Tiwari and Dayanand Shetty.

Singham Again action sequence shot on Byculla streets?

According to a Mid-Day report, the streets of Byculla turned into a battleground for Ajay Devgn's Singham Again. An elaborate fight sequence was shot, wherein the actor takes on a gang of baddies in the Rohit Shetty directorial. 

The report stated that Ajay shot through the night with Shweta and Dayanand for the sequence in Bycullar. "After a part of the sequence was filmed, the shoot moved to Richardson & Cruddas Mill in the vicinity," a source told the tabloid.

Who plays what in Singham Again?

Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn will reprise the role of DCP Bajirao Singham in the film. Kareena Kapoor Khan, on the other hand, will be seen as his wife Avni Kamat Singham. Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh will reprise their respective characters - DCP Veer Suryvanshi and ACP Sangram Bhalerao.

As far as Deepika Padukone is concerned, she might play the role of Ajay's cousin in the film, Shakti Shetty. And Tiger Shroff will be ACP Satya in Singham Again. Arjun Kapoor also recently came on board as the deadly antagonist of the movie. The star cast also includes Jackie Shroff and Siddhartha Jadhav.

Singham Again's box office clash with Pushpa 2

Produced by Ajay Devgn, Rohit Shetty, and Jyoti Deshpande, Singham Again is ready to release on Independence Day 2024. The movie is headed for a box office clash with Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna's Pushpa 2. Helmed by filmmaker Sukumar, the film is the sequel to 2021 movie Pushpa: The Rise.
