In February 2024, Arjun Kapoor was confirmed to be a part of Rohit Shetty's cop drama, Singham Again. The third installment of Shetty's Singham franchise will showcase Kapoor essaying the role of a menacing villain. Since the announcement was made, there has been a lot of buzz around the character details of Arjun from Singham Again. While the details are still under wraps, the actor has completed the shoot of Rohit's directorial venture. He shared a heartfelt post on Instagram and called the director a 'boss of mass cinema'.
Arjun Kapoor wraps up Singham Again shoot
Arjun Kapoor shared a picture with Singham Again director Rohit Shetty on his official Instagram handle. While posting the photo on the gram, Arjun stated that he is the villain of Shetty's cop universe and added that he has wrapped up his work on Singham Again. "My 20th film & one of the biggest milestones of my career with a director who is the boss of MASS CINEMA !!! I feel blessed to be a part of one of the most entertaining franchises in Indian cinema. Can’t wait for our hard work to light up the silver screen soon !!! (sic)," penned Arjun.
Arjun Kapoor on being a part of Singham Again
Earlier, in an interview with ANI, Arjun Kapoor thanked Rohit Shetty for allowing him to be a part of his cop film Singham Again. "I started my career in the industry by playing characters with negative shades like Ishaqzaade, Aurungzeb and after all these years, here I am, playing a villain in Singham Again! While Aditya Chopra saw it in me to play characters that are flawed, now I’m thankful to Rohit Shetty for having the belief that I could play an out-and-out villain in his ambitious and much-loved cop universe film," he said.

Apart from Arjun Kapoor, the star cast of Singham Again includes Ajay Devgn as Bajirao Singham, and Kareena Kapoor Khan as his on-screen wife Avni. Deepika Padukone has come on board as the first female cop of Shetty's cop universe. She will be seen as Shakti Shetty. Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar will be reprising their roles from Simmba and Sooryavanshi.
Singham Again is scheduled for a theatrical release on August 15, 2024.
