Bollywood star Ranveer Singh is a doting husband who never misses out on showering love on his wife, actress Deepika Padukone. This time, the actor shared Deepika’s new cop look from her upcoming film Singham Again on his Instagram stories and captioned it ‘Sherni’ as Deepika exudes power and strength in her uniform. Earlier, Ranveer had commented ‘AAG LAGA DI’ on Deepika’s post when she unveiled the official poster image of her character, Shakti Shetty, on her Instagram handle.

Taking to Instagram, Ranveer shared a picture of Deepika from the sets of Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film, Singham Again. Dressed in a police uniform, paired with black sunglasses, Deepika can be seen in the iconic Singham pose in the photo. Along with the picture, Ranveer wrote, ‘Sherni’. In the movie, Deepika will be playing the role of a police officer named Shakti Shetty.
Recently, a picture of mom-to-be Deepika in the police uniform from the sets of Singham Again went viral online. In the picture, the actress paired her police uniform with a sleek bun and minimal makeup. As Deepika had resumed her shoot after a brief maternity break, fans were eager to get a peek at her baby bump but to no avail.
When Deepika unveiled her cop avatar
Singham Again will feature a female cop for the first time in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe. Revealing her look, Deepika in October 2023, shared the poster image of her cop avatar and captioned it, “Introducing…Shakti Shetty!” Reacting to the post, Ranveer Singh commented, “AAG LAGA DEGI”, while other industry colleagues commented with multiple fire emojis.
Singham Again will also feature Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan in pivotal roles. The film is set to hit the theatres on Diwali 2024.

Deepika announced in February 2024 that she is expecting her first child with her husband Ranveer Singh, and the baby is due to arrive in September 2024.
