The teaser of Jayam Ravi's Siren is out. The teaser, which spans 1 minute and 38 seconds, features Jayam Ravi as a prisoner who is serving the sentence for a murder. The film, which stars Keerthy Suresh as the leading lady, is directed by Antony Bhagyaraj.

Taking to his social media handle, Jayam Ravi wrote, “The Verdict” Double the BlastPresenting #Siren Teaser and wishing Happy Diwali https://youtu.be/V7BBKpDtxLo In theaters this December 2023 !! A @gvprakash Musical (sic)."

All about the teaser
The teaser features Jayam Ravi as a prisoner who has his own following inside the premises. He says that the 250 people in the prison are special because they are in for taking other's lives. The voiceover by Keerthy Suresh, who plays a cop, reveals that Jayam Ravi is an ambulance driver who has been waiting for his parole so that he can set out on his mission.

Though the teaser doesn't reveal what the mission is, it throws a glimpse of the action-packed adventure which Jayam Ravi undertakes after being out on parole. Giving him apt company is Yogi Babu, a cop, who is likely to give the audience the laughs.

Star cast and crew
The film stars Jayam Ravi, Keerthy Suresh, Anupama Parameshwaran, Samuthirakani, Yogi Babu and Tulasi, to name a few. Music for the film is by GV Prakash Kumar, cinematography by Selva Kumar SK and editing by Ruben. The stunt choreography is by Dhilip Subbarayan. The film produced by Sujatha Vijayakumar, is all set to drop in theatres in December.

Jayam Ravi last seen in Iraivan
Jayam Ravi's last outing was the murder mystery Iraivan in which he played a cop who is out to catch a psycho serial killer. The film opened to mixed reviews at the box office. OTTplay critic P Sangeetha wrote that the film is loaded with mindless violence and bloodbath. The screenplay was billed as illogical and the emotional scenes barely worked. Jayam Ravi was declared as the saving grace in the film.
