Sitaare Zameen Par is one of the most-awaited films of 2025. Produced by Aamir Khan and directed by R.S. Prasanna, the film also stars Aamir in a lead role. The film is all set to hit theaters on June 20, but ahead of the release, the first review for the film is out as the renowned philanthropist and author Sudha Murty praised the film.
Sitaare Zameen Par is a spiritual sequel to his 2007 classic Taare Zameen Par. The film is about a basketball coach, who serves community service by training Neurodivergent adults. Ahead of the release, the renowned philanthropist and author Sudha Murty, who recently attended a special screening of the film, showered praise on the film and said that Sitaare Zameen Par highlights an important social issue and is deeply touching and beautifully portrayed.
She said that Sitaare Zameen Par is an eye-opener because many people don't understand such children. As per her, Aamir's film is very beautiful, where you understand that they are very sensitive and pure-hearted.
"They always smile because they are so simple in their approach to life. When someone achieves what you have not achieved, you still enjoy it when someone is enjoying it,' she said.
She further added, “These are very great and philosophical lessons that you learn from these people, and the film includes them. This movie can bring a lot of changes, actually, and it can also make people sensitive on the issue of intellectual disability, and one should not look down upon them.”

Aamir Khan Productions casts 10 rising stars: Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar. The film also features Genelia Deshmukh alongside Aamir.
Directed by R. S. Prasanna, the film follows a disgraced basketball coach, Gulshan (played by Aamir Khan), who is ordered by the court to coach a team of neurotypical players. Initially reluctant and arrogant, Gulshan builds a close bond with his team and learns valuable lessons about love, patience, and kindness. The film is set to release on June 20th, 2025.
