The makers of Sivakarthikeyan's Ayalaan have just announced the release date of the film. The film's production house KJR Studios today revealed that the film will drop in theatres on the occasion of Deepavali. The makers of the science fiction comedy dropped a new poster from the film in which Sivakarthikeyan and the alien Ayalaan are flying atop a city on Deepavali. We also get to see fireworks everywhere below them.

The makers wrote on their social media handle, "We've made contact with extraterrestrial life! And we have a visitor from Outer space  Expected time of Arrival: Diwali 2023 Get ready to welcome our lovely and adorable #Ayalaan #AyalaanFromDiwali2023 (sic)."

After a long hiatus, the makers had dropped a statement yesterday, in which they stated that a big announcement was all set to be revealed this morning. The statement also read that Ayalaan will have the highest number of CG shots for a pan-Indian film.

The statement read, "It also gives us immense pleasure to let you know that 'Ayalaan' will be the first full-length live-action film in Indian cinema to have over 4,500 VFX shots with the alien character playing a pivotal role in the movie. At this moment, I would like to thank Phantom FX, the company behind the CG of many Hollywood movies, for the exceptional CG work they are delivering for Ayalaan."

Ayalaan has Sivakarthikeyan, Rakul Preet Singh, Isha Koppikar, Sharad Kelkar, Yogi Babu as part of the star cast. Music for the film is by AR Rahman, cinematography by Nirav Shah and editing by Ruben. This is Sivakarthikeyan's first pan-Indian film and the project is bankrolled by Kotapadi J Rajesh under KJR Studios.

It looks like the second half of the year will have back-to-back releases for Sivakarthikeyan. His other film Maaveeran directed  by Madonne Ashwin is gearing up to hit screens on August 11 ahead of Independence Day.
