Sivakarthikeyan locks Thaai Kizhavi director even before debutant’s film release; says ‘will be a film that’s expected from me’

Actor Sivakarthikeyan, last seen in Parasakthi, is now gearing up for next film from his production banner. Titled Thaai Kizhavi, the film is slated for a theatrical release on February 20. It is directed by debutant Sivakumar Murugesan, who has already bagged his second film even before his debut hit theatres. And it is none other than Sivakarthikeyan who will star in his second directorial.

Actor and producer Sivakarthikeyan, who is doing a film with Venkat Prabhu, has also locked the director of his next film. The actor, who is producing Thaai Kizhavi, will be joining with its director, Sivakumar Murugesan, a debutant, for his next. As per reports, it is expected to be backed by Raaj Kamal Films International owned by Kamal Haasan.

While an official announcement has not yet been made, Sivakarthikeyan who addressed the media during a temple visit, said that everything has been locked and the announcement is on the way. "It is a kind of a film people will expect from me. It will be a film that is expected from me by all. The content, director, and producer are locked.

When is Parasakthi OTT release date?

Meanwhile you can stream Parasakthi, a period political drama starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role. It will premiere on ZEE5 via OTTplay Premium on February 7. It is directed by Sudha Kongara and also has Atharvaa, Sreeleela and Ravi Mohan in important roles.
