Siya Trailer: Pooja Pandey and Vineet Kumar Singh's film chronicles the disturbing and brutal reality of the society

Siya starring Pooja Pandey and Vineet Kumar Singh is the upcoming crime-thriller on ZEE5. Directed by Manish Mundra, the movie chronicles the tale of a rape survivor, who decides to take her justice in her hand when the system fails on her. The official trailer of the film is finally out.

The trailer video chronicles the summary of the story in a small video with a few disturbing visuals. The montages showcase how a 17-year-old girl, Siya, gets assaulted by a few men in her village for several days. When she decides to file a complaint, a few people from the authorities frown upon her and later no one from the system helps her in her case and she ends up getting no justice.

This leads to a shocking and unexpected turn of events that sees the young girl taking her justice into her own hand and vowing to take revenge.

The creators of the film dropped the latest official trailer with a special caption on YouTube that reads, "Siya, A 17-year-old girl is abducted and brutally abused by a group of men from influential families. Witness her journey as she decides to take on these men and the vicious system that seems to favour them. Siya, which has won the best debut director at UK Asian Film Festival 2023 and has been selected at New York Indian Film Festival 2023 and Ottawa Indian Film Festival Awards, is now gearing up for an OTT release after its theatrical run on June 16 on ZEE5.
