Jesse Armstrong, the mastermind behind Succession, is stepping into feature filmmaking with an untitled HBO movie, and he’s bringing Steve Carell along for the ride! The film, set against a global financial crisis, follows four billionaire buddies and boasts a stellar cast, including Jason Schwartzman, Cory Michael Smith, and Ramy Youssef. Filming kicks off this month in Park City, Utah, with a spring release planned. Armstrong, who co-wrote In the Loop, reunites with Succession alums behind the scenes. With capitalism as its battleground and HBO’s backing, this project promises to be another sharp, satirical knockout!
Alex Garland’s ‘Warfare’ gears up for battle with a star-studded cast
Fresh off the success of Civil War, Alex Garland is back with Warfare, an action-packed thriller co-directed with Iraq War veteran Ray Mendoza, based on Mendoza’s real experiences in 2006. Hitting theatres on April 11, 2025, the film stars Stranger Things breakout Joseph Quinn, Noah Centineo, Shōgun star Cosmo Jarvis, Heartstopper’s Kit Connor, and Will Poulter. A24 just dropped a sneak peek, teasing the film’s gritty realism. 2024 was a major year for A24, with Babygirl, Heretic, and We Live in Time making waves at the box office. Buckle up, Warfare is ready to storm the big screen!
‘Hacks’ season 4 ropes in ‘Six Feet Under’ and ‘Paradise Stars’ for a wild late-night ride

After months of silence, Deadline confirms the duo has finally started developing the show, likely eyeing a fall pilot season. While details remain scarce, the title hints at hilarious eternal family drama. Meanwhile, Ghosts continues haunting the charts with 11 million viewers and a fresh two-season renewal. With Port and Wiseman juggling both projects, expect them to kickstart the new show before passing the baton.
Neil Patrick Harris joins ‘Dexter: Resurrection’ and maybe his days are numbered?
Looks like Dexter: Resurrection is on a casting spree, and this time, it’s How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris stepping into the chaos!
