Third time's a charm for Disney’s popular franchise Hocus Pocus which returns with the third film, as confirmed by Sean Bailey, President at Walt Disney Pictures in an interview with The New York Times. This is hardly surprising news given the success of Hocus Pocus 2 which released in 2022 and included the original cast of Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and

Kathy Najimy among others. The Sanderson Sisters, better known as the witches of Salem, wreak much havoc in the movie franchise when a group of children happen to accidentally conjure these sardonic witches back to life. Hints were dropped about a third film in the climax of Hocus Pocus 2 and we’re stoked to learn about this revival. For Sarah Jessica Parker fans, here’s something to look forward to.

Ranbir Kapoor makes a cameo in Aryan Khan’s directorial debut

In other news, Ranbir Kapoor has shot for an important cameo in Aryan Khan's directorial debut web series Stardom. The star kid has been leaving no stone unturned to ensure the success of his maiden project and has been involved in the writing, casting, and pre-production for the series. Currently filming in Mumbai, the series has garnered much attention with Ranbir Kapoor's surprise visit to the sets to support Aryan Khan. Besides Kapoor, the show will also feature guest appearances by Karan Johar and others. Aryan Khan's Stardom delves into the history of Hindi cinema and will be an ode to those key figures from the industry who redefined the medium through their compelling contributions. Gadar: Ek Prem Katha back in theatres ahead of sequel

Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, the iconic film starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, is all set to make a grand comeback in theaters ahead of the film’s sequel which releases in August. The Anil Sharma-directed partition drama, which originally released in 2001 and created history with its massive success, will be re-released by Zee Studios. The film has undergone a remastering process, costing Rs 2 crore, to provide an enhanced viewing experience. Moreover, this re-release will also feature some additional scenes that were not a part of the original film. Starting with a selective theatrical release this Friday, Zee Studios will gauge the audience response before expanding the number of screens. As the film completes 22 years this month, fans of Sunny Deol can relive the magic of this cross-border love story on the big screen once again. The film’s strategic re-release could also help the upcoming sequel which is slated to release in August.

The makers recently unveiled the first look of the movie, which has piqued a lot of curiosity among fans. Shine Tom Chacko portrays the role of a police officer, while Kalabhavan Shajohn slips into the character of a local politician. Jaffer Idukki, on the other hand, immerses himself in the role of a tribal.
