Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell lead the cast, portraying Bea and Ben, former flames coerced into feigning a romantic relationship at a destination wedding. The trailer follows the playful banter between Sweeney and Powell, offering insights into their characters’ dynamics while on a flight to the wedding. As the plot unfolds in Australia, they navigate comical and awkward situations, agreeing to pretend to be a couple to ward off their exes. Directed by Will Gluck, known for hits like Friends With Benefits and Easy A, the film promises a blend of humour and romance. Originally set for December 15, the theatrical release has been rescheduled to December 22, just in time for the holiday season, featuring a stellar cast including Dermot Mulroney, Alexandra Shipp, among others.

With Elsa and Anna’s saga becoming a top priority for Walt Disney Animation Studios, the announcement aligns with the studio's focus on sequels, including Toy Story 5 and a second Zootopia movie. Although release dates for these sequels are yet to be disclosed, the continued success of the Frozen franchise underscores Disney's pursuit of billion-dollar box office hits.

Karan Johar and Sara Ali Khan to debut Ae Watan Mere Watan first Look at 54th IFFI Goa, spotlight on Usha Mehta's freedom struggle.

Karan Johar and Sara Ali Khan are set to unveil the much-anticipated first look of their upcoming film, Ae Watan Mere Watan, at the 54th International Film Festival of India in Goa on November 21. The film features Sara Ali Khan in the role of freedom fighter Usha Mehta, who ran an underground radio station called Congress Radio during the Quit India Movement of 1942. The radio station played a crucial role in disseminating uncensored news and information banned by the British government. Directed by Kannan Iyer, the film is slated to release on Amazon Prime Video. Incidentally, the festival will also feature the premiere of the  Salman Khan-backed thriller-drama Farrey on the same day, along with screenings of other unreleased Indian films and masterclasses by prominent figures in the industry. Michael Douglas will be awarded the prestigious Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award this year.

Merry Christmas release date shifted: Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi’s much-awaited film to release on January 12, 2024

The highly-anticipated film Merry Christmas, directed by Sriram Raghavan and starring Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif, is now set to grace the silver screen on January 12, 2024, after being postponed from its initial release date of December 15, 2023, in both Hindi and Tamil. In a joint statement, the film’s makers expressed their deep affection for the project and their unwavering commitment to delivering an exceptional cinematic experience. Citing a crowded last two months of 2023 with back-to-back releases, they decided to extend the season of joy and bring the film to theatres in the new year. Merry Christmas is a collaborative effort combining the creative vision and expertise of Tips Films and Matchbox Pictures.
