HBO series Succession to end with season 4

Multiple Emmy Award-winning HBO series Succession is set to conclude after its fourth season. Showrunner Jesse Armstrong had previously teased that the show could be winding up soon and HBO has recently confirmed that the upcoming season will be its final one. The fourth season will focus on the conflicts surrounding the sale of Waystar Royco to a large tech company, and how it will affect the Roy family.

Ashley Park to star in Only Murders in the Building season 3

Emily in Paris alum Ashley Park has been added to the cast of the third season of the hit crime-comedy series Only Murders in the Building. The third season will also feature guest appearances by multiple academy-winner Merly Streep and Ant-Man star Paul Rudd. Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez will reprise their roles for the upcoming third season as true-crime podcasters who’re keen on solving crimes taking place around them.

Andy Muschietti to helm IT prequel

A prequel series to the critically-acclaimed reboot of the IT franchise is in the works at HBO Max. Andy Muschietti will return to helm the project, and the series will be titled Welcome to Derry. The plot details surrounding the prequel adapted from Stephen King’s novels have been kept under wraps but it will most likely be an original story about Pennywise the Clown. It is going to be a packed 2023 for Muschietti as his much-anticipated film, The Flash is set to release on 16th June 2023. The film will serve as a reset of the DC Universe under James Gunn.

Just Like That season 2 adds Sam Smith

And just like that, the spin-off to the hit TV series Sex and the City has been renewed for a second season. It has also been revealed that four-time Grammy-winning artist Sam Smith will make a cameo in the upcoming season. The news was announced on social media through the show’s official Instagram handle. The release date for the second season is yet to be disclosed as the series is currently in production.

Marvel film Thunderbolts adds Steven Yeun to its cast

The Walking Dead star Steven Yeun has been added to the cast of the highly-anticipated Marvel film Thunderbolts. Hollywood legend Harrison Ford will replace the late William Hurt in the film which features a star-studded ensemble of Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Wyatt Russell, and Hannah John-Kamen. They will be reprising their roles from previous Marvel projects, and will be joined by new cast members Olga Kurylenko and Ayo Edebiri. The film will be about a group of anti-heros working covertly for the US military under the command of Thunderbolt Ross, and the film will be helmed by Jake Schreier. The superhero action thriller is expected to release on 26th July 2024.

Akshay Kumar’s Welcome 3 adds Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi to its cast

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar’s much-anticipated film, Welcome 3 has reportedly added Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi to its cast. The duo have famously served as a comedy tag team, starring in movies such as Munna Bhai M.B.B.S and Lage Raho Munna Bhai. The upcoming Welcome 3, rumoured to be titled Welcome to the Jungle, will also be the first Indian film to use the ‘Huey’ helicopter. We can’t wait for this action comedy to drop.
