‘Heels’ cancelled after two seasons

The hit pro-wrestling drama TV series Heels, starring Steven Amell and Alexander Ludwig, has been cancelled after two seasons. The Starz original series revolves around two brothers vying for control over their father’s modest wrestling company. Starz also announced the cancellation of Blindspotting, Run the World, and The Venery of Samantha Bird. While both Blindspotting and Run the World ran for two seasons, the Katherine Langford-led series The Venery of Samantha Bird has been scrapped before releasing a single episode.

Heels, Run the World, and Blindspotting are available to stream on OTTplay Premium.

‘Hunger Games’ prequel releases new teaser images ahead of release

Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbird and Snakes, the highly anticipated prequel film to the Hunger Games franchise starring Jennifer Lawrence, has released teaser images featuring lead star Rachel Ziegler. The West Side Story actress, Ziegler, will play the role of Lucy Gray, who is a tribute to the young Coriolanus Snow played by Tom Blyth. An older version of Snow is played by Donald Sutherland in the original films. Viola Davis and Peter Dinklage essay other prominent roles in the film. Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbird and Snakes is set to release on November 17.

‘Tiger 3’ to release a teaser clip titled ‘Tiger Ka Message’

It has been revealed that Bollywood star Salman Khan will release a monologue video as part of the promotions for the highly-anticipated action film Tiger 3. The video called Tiger Ka Message’ will be one minute and 46 seconds long and will feature Khan delivering a message about the film, which is part of Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe comprising Bollywood blockbusters such as War and Pathaan. The film is directed by Maneesh Sharma and also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. Tiger 3 is scheduled to release in theatres on November 10 during Diwali.

‘Salaar’ starring Prabhas to clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dunki’

Hombale Films has announced that their highly-anticipated action thriller headlined by Baahubali star Prabhas is set to be released on December 22. The news comes as a shock to many as the release date clashes with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki. Salaar is helmed by Prashanth Neel, who is best known for helming the hit Kannada film KGF, whereas Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki is directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the maverick behind the Munna Bhai films.

Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar to star alongside Anupam Kher in ‘Ghost’

Pen Studios is set to collaborate with Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar for the studio’s first Kannada film, titled Ghost. The veteran Kannada star will feature alongside Bollywood veteran Anupam Kher in the upcoming action thriller directed by M. G. Srinivas. Ghost is scheduled to release in theatres on October 19.
