Kartik Aaryan film ‘Chandu Champion’ announces new cast members

Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan is set to star in the upcoming Kabir Khan directorial Chandu Champion. The sports drama has announced new cast members, including Vijay Raaz, Bhuvan Arora, Rajpal Yadav, and Bhagyashree. The film is reportedly a biopic on the paralympic champion Murlikant Petkar. Aaryan is said to be undergoing rigorous training with the help of a team from Los Angeles for the role. Further details about the film have been kept under wraps.

Bobby Deol cast alongside Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty and Arshad Warsi in ‘Welcome 3’

Veteran Bollywood star Bobby Deol has been cast in Welcome 3 according to reports. He will join an ensemble cast which already boasts Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty and Arshad Warsi. The comedy film will also cast three top female actresses and the casting process is said to be already underway. Filming is set to commence in January but details regarding the plot have not been disclosed yet.

Ke Huy Quan joins cast of ‘Loki’ season 2

Ke Huy Quan, who recently won an Academy Award for his performance in Everything Everywhere All At Once, has been cast in Season 2 of Loki. He will join returning cast members, including lead star Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, and Sophia Di Martino. Disney+ and Marvel Studios released the first trailer for the upcoming series, in which the God of Mischief can be seen teaming up with Morbius and Sylvie to repair the fractured timelines and realities. Loki Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ on October 6, 2023, and it will release simultaneously in India on Disney+ Hotstar.

'The Last Voyage of the Demeter' announces release date

Norwegian filmmaker André Øvredal is set to release the highly-anticipated horror film The Last Voyage of the Demeter. The film is reportedly inspired by Ridley Scott's Alien and the novel Bram Stoker's Dracula. The film will tell the story of the voyage of a ship called Demeter in the year 1897, and aboard the ship is Dracula, lurking in the shadows terrifying the ship’s crew. The film’s teaser was recently released, and it promises to be a nail-biting horror thriller.  The Last Voyage of the Demeter is set to premiere on August 11.

‘Control’ starring Kevin Spacey to release later this year

Hollywood star Kevin Spacey, who was recently cleared of sexual assault charges in the UK is set to star in a new feature film. Titled, Control, the film is a British indie thriller that will feature a two-time Oscar winner in a voice-acting capacity. The film is written and directed by Gene Fallaize and revolves around Lauren Metcalfe’s character, the British home secretary, who has an affair with the Prime Minister. Spacey will essay the role of the antagonist who seeks revenge against the home secretary. Control is set to release in theatres in December this year.

‘Euphoria’ Angus Cloud dies aged 25

Angus Cloud, who is best known for playing the fan-favourite character Fez in Euphoria has tragically passed away aged 25. Tributes have been pouring in for the beloved young actor who received his breakout role in Sam Levinson’s hit HBO series Euphoria. The tragic news comes at a painful time for Cloud’s family after Cloud’s father passed away just a week prior.
