Michael Ealy joins the fourth season of Power Book II: Ghost

Ahead of the release of the third season of Power Book II: Ghost, the network released the renewal announcement for the fourth season. They also revealed that The Intruder star Michael Ealy will be joining as a series regular from the fourth season. Ealy will be playing the role of an NYPD officer with aspirations of being the next Police Commissioner. The third season which premieres on March 17 will see the lead Tariq St. Patrick trying to mend his relationship with his family.

Phoebe Dynevor is not returning for the third season of Bridgerton

Phoebe Dynevor, who made her breakthrough through her portrayal of Daphne Bridgerton in the popular Netflix drama Bridgerton, will not be returning for a third season. Her charisma and on-screen chemistry with Regé-Jean Page in a Regency setting became a fan- favourite. She also played a prominent role in the second season which focussed on her older brother, the Viscount. However, she will not make an appearance in the third season. Her on-screen husband Duke of Hastings did not make an appearance after essaying the lead role in season one. The upcoming season will focus on the third Bridgerton brother, Colin and his complicated relationship with Penelope Featherington.

Chris Evans and Ana de Armas are set to reunite again

Hollywood stars Chris Evans and Ana de Armas are reuniting yet again for a new feature film. They appeared together in Russo Brothers’ film The Gray Man and the hit murder mystery Knives Out. Currently, the poster release of the upcoming film Ghosted reveals Evans and de Armas as the topliners. Helmed by Dexter Fletcher, the Apple TV+ project is a romantic action film around Evans and de Armas’s characters Cole Riggan and Saddie. Scarlett Johansson, another was approached to play the lead opposite Evans but had to back out due to scheduling conflicts.

Jason Bateman is stepping into the shoes of the director for his next project

Jason Bateman has proved himself as a more than capable director with the popular crime drama series, Ozark, which won him the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series in 2019. He will be stepping into the shoes of a director again for his next project The Pinkerton. Described as "a supernatural revenge western hybrid", the film is based on a real-life detective agency and private security firm from the 1850s. It will be the first collaboration project between Warner Bros. and J.J. Abrams' banner Bad Robot.

Luke Hemsworth to star in the action film Gunner

Luke Hemsworth, much like his younger brothers, has earned a name in the action genre and is best known for his role in the futuristic Sci-fi show Westworld. Luke Hemsworth will be next seen in the action film Gunner as Lee Gunner, a Special Forces veteran on a camping trip with his kids. The special family trip goes wrong when the kids accidentally discover a fentanyl lab and get kidnapped by drug runners. Details on the rest of the cast are being kept under wraps.

Guillermo del Toro is already working on her next stop-motion project

Guillermo del Toro made history with his adaptation of Pinocchio which received numerous accolades from winning Best Animated Feature Film at the 80th Golden Globe Awards to being nominated for Best Animated Feature at the 95th Academy Awards. For his next project, he will be adapting Kazuo Ishiguro’s Nobel Prize-winning novel The Buried Giant into a stop-motion creation. The novel follows an elderly British couple Axl and Beatrice who are looking for their lost son in post-Arthurian England.

Michael Jackson's nephew is set to portray him in the upcoming biopic

The search for the lead for the upcoming biopic Michael is finally over. And it is none other than Jaafar Jackson who will be playing his uncle, the King of Pop Michael Jackson on screen. Jaafar is the son of Jackson's brother Jermaine Jackson, who was also one of the members of the iconic Jackson 5. Helmed by Antoine Fuqua, the biopic will portray Jackson's glittering musical career and the ups and downs of his personal and professional life.
