The character inherits a special mask granting superhuman abilities, offering a unique cultural perspective within the Marvel Universe.

Ayo Edebiri, known for her role in Hulu's The Bear, has exited the cast of Thunderbolts due to scheduling conflicts. Geraldine Viswanathan, recognised for her work in The Beanie Bubble, is set to replace Edebiri in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film. The plot of Thunderbolts revolves around a team of powerful vigilantes led by Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. The film features returning characters like Yelena Belova, Red Guardian, Bucky Barnes, Ghost, Taskmaster, and the U.S. Agent. Directed by Jake Schreier, Thunderbolts is scheduled for release on July 25, 2025.

Hayley Atwell to lead voice cast in Duncan Jones' Sci-Fi Film ‘Rogue Trooper’

Hayley Atwell is set to lead the voice cast in Duncan Jones' animated sci-fi film Rogue Trooper. The film, based on the British comic, has completed principal photography and is expected to be released next year. The voice cast also includes Aneurin Barnard, Jack Lowden, Daryl McCormack, Reece Shearsmith, Jemaine Clement, Matt Berry, Diane Morgan, Alice Lowe, Asa Butterfield, and Sean Bean. Rogue Trooper is animated using Epic’s 3D tool Unreal Engine 5. The story, known for its political and brutal themes with a touch of humour, is set on the war-ravaged planet Nu-Earth and follows the Genetic Infantrymen, with Rogue Trooper seeking justice.

James Gunn reveals progress on ‘Peacemaker’ Season 2

James Gunn has shared an update on the progress of Peacemaker Season 2, stating that he has almost finished writing the eighth episode. Gunn mentioned that most of his recent days were spent on pre-production work for Superman: Legacy and writing for Peacemaker Season 2 in the evenings and mornings. The post on Threads also revealed that this weekend was dedicated to almost finishing episode 8 of Peacemaker. Gunn had previously mentioned that the other seven episodes of the second season have already been written. While Peacemaker Season 2 does not have a release date yet, fans can anticipate a new mission for the vigilante character. However, Gunn has not provided clarity on how Peacemaker’s from the now-defunct DCEU will be incorporated into the new DCU.

Pakistani singer Atif Aslam to return to Bollywood after 7 Years

Pakistani singer Atif Aslam is set to make a comeback to Bollywood after a hiatus of seven years. He will be lending his voice to an upcoming song for the movie Love Story of 90's (LSO90's). The film is produced by Sangani Brothers Motion Pictures, directed by Amit Kasaria, and features Adhyayan Suman alongside Miss Universe Diva, Divita Rai. Atif Aslam, known for his soulful voice, has a history of delivering hit songs in Bollywood, including "Pehli Nazar Mein," "Tera Hone Laga Hoon," and "Jeena Jeena." The producers of LSO90's believe that Atif Aslam's musical compositions are widely distinguished, and they consider his return to Bollywood music as a significant moment. The Sangani brothers, producers of LSO90's, expressed their excitement about Atif Aslam's comeback, stating that he was impressed with the film's storyline and cast ensemble. They see his return as a moment of pride and joy for them and anticipate that the song will be a hit in 2024. In addition to Atif Aslam, the movie's music will feature other top singers, including Udit Narayan, Amit Mishra, and Aman Trikha, who have sung a song dedicated to Ganpati Bappa. The producers are optimistic that the film's album will be one of the finest in 2024.
