Zeenat Aman cast in Bun Tikki along with Azmi and Abhay Deol

Veteran Bollywood star Zeenat Aman is set to make her comeback in Faraz Arif Ansari’s next feature film. Aman will be joined by fellow veteran Shabana Azmi along with Abhay Deol. Filming is expected to commence in November at Himachal Pradesh, and will reportedly centre around parenting and gender identity.

'Watchmen' animated film announced by DC

The critically-acclaimed best-selling DC graphic novel, Watchmen, is set to be adapted into an animated film. The graphic novel, originally authored by Alan Moore, was previously adapted in 2009 by Zack Snyder and is widely regarded as an underappreciated film. HBO released a live-action sequel TV series to the graphic novel in 2019, which won an incredible 11 Primetime Emmy Awards. The new animated film is set to be released in 2024 along with a new animated film based on the Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths comics. The new DC animated film, Justice League: Warworld, will release on the 25th of July on BookMyShow Stream.

‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ runtime revealed

The highly anticipated Karan Johar film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is set to hit theatres this weekend. Starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles, the film revolves around the unexpected love story between a well-read journalist and a flamboyant man. The film also features an ensemble cast of Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi among others. It has now been revealed that the CBFC has given the film a U/A certification after several cuts, and it will feature a runtime of 2 hours and 48 minutes. Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani releases in theatres on July 28.

Rajesh Roshan shares details about the documentary on the Roshans

According to reports a documentary is in development focusing on the contribution of the Roshan family to the Bollywood industry. The documentary will explore the careers of legendary musician Roshan Lal Nagrath, his two sons Rakesh Roshan, the filmmaker, and Rajesh Roshan, the music composer, and his grandson – the Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan. In an interview with a news portal, Rakesh Roshan confirmed the news about the documentary and revealed that information and facts about the family will be discussed in the documentary.

Trailer for Pawan Kalyan’s highly-anticipated ‘Bro’ released

The highly anticipated trailer for the upcoming Pawan Kalyan film, BRO, has been released. The Telugu film is directed by Tamil actor Samuthirakani, and it is a remake of the actor’s 2021 film Vinodhaya Sitham. Sai Dharam Tej also plays one of the lead roles alongside Kalyan, with Ketika Sharma, and Priya Prakash Warrier in other prominent roles.

‘Barbenheimer’ dominates global box-office

The unprecedented global phenomenon, Barbenheimer, has finally arrived and it has lit up the global box offices. Both films, Barbie and Oppenheimer, have grossed a combined total of $511 million so far, with the more accessible PG-rated Barbie headlined by Margot Robbie raking in a massive $377 million, while the R-rated Oppenhmier headlined by Cillian Murphy grossing an impressive $174 million, well above expectations. India went against the global trend with Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer attracting more audiences than Greta Gerwig’s Barbie. Both films, along with Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 are expected to have long theatrical runs across the globe.
