SJ Suryah and Priya Bhavani Shankar's long-delayed Bommai is finally gearing up for release. The film is all set to hit screens on June 16. While making the announcement, SJ Suryah also dropped a poster from the film, in which he is seen peeping through a window. The film is directed by Radhamohan, who had earlier helmed feel-good films like Mozhi, Abhiyum Naanum and Kaatrin Mozhi.

Priya Bhavani Shankar plays the leading lady in the film. This is the second time that SJ Suryah and Priya Bhavani Shankar are coming together onscreen. They had earlier worked together in Monster (2019),

While Priya Bhavani Shankar was last seen in Pathu Thala, in which she shared screen space with Silambarasan TR and Gautham Karthik, SJ Suryah is currently part of two much-awaited films in the industry, Adhik Ravichandran's Mark Antony and Karthik Subbaraj's Jigarthanda Double XL.

The actor will be seen in retro looks in both the films and the glimpses have already gone viral on social media. Priya Bhavani Shankar, on the other hand, has a slew of films in her kitty, including Demonte Colony 2 and Indian 2. a comedy film written and directed by Nelson Venkatesan. The comedy drama was inspired by the 1997 American black comedy Mouse Hunt.

The first single Mudhal Muththam was released by none other than AR Rahman. Thanking the composer, SJ Suryah wrote on his social media handle, "Thank you very much @arrahman sir for this everlasting love & it’s a great start of my next round of journey happy got the blessings from the Legend (sic)." Going by the song, it looks like SJ Suryah plays a shopkeeper who falls in love with a mannequin.
