The makers of upcoming untitled Tamil film starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role has released another character poster today (August 10). The project, which is called SK x ARM and SK 23 for the time being, also stars Malayalam actor Biju Menon in a pivotal role. The character poster of the actor has been unveiled by the film’s director, AR Murugadoss, on various social media platforms.

“A talent I've always wanted to work with, glad it is finally happening with this film. Big days ahead with the entire team,” wrote the filmmaker on X, expressing his happiness over Biju Menon being a part of his project.

Biju Menon, who is well-known for his various police roles, makes an appearance as a cop in both the poster and the character-teaser video, suggesting that he may deliver yet another outstanding performance.

All about SK 23

While the production for the film is currently underway, reports suggested that the makers are eyeing a Diwali festival release in 2024. However, the makers have yet to confirm the release window or a title for the project. SK 23 has Rukmini Vasanth playing the female lead, with Anirudh Ravichander scoring the music for the film. The film is expected to be a mass entertainer. The film went on floors in February. Although not much is known about the film, Sivakarthikeyan had earlier said that the film would give him more scope to perform.

Biju Menon’s Tamil project after a long hiatus

The actor’s last Tamil film was Porkkalam in 2010. Biju recently discussed the reason for his break from making films in other languages in an interview with OTTplay. "I used to appear in multilingual films as the main antagonist or in negative roles. I just needed to pick fights and act like a villain. After a while, I found it to be boring," he remarked.

Biju Menon’s recent theatrical releases were Nadanna Sambhavam, now streaming on Manorama Max, and Thalavan, which will be available on Sony LIV soon.
