Sky Force star Veer Pahariya breaks silence on getting trolled; calls his viral dance move 'langdi' step

Veer Pahariya made his Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar's film, Sky Force. Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur, the movie was theatrically released on January 24. Before the film was released, Veer's dance step from Rang went viral on social media. A section of social media users trolled the actor for his dance move. Now, Veer has finally reacted to getting trolled for his dance move, which he described as a 'langdi' step.

In an interview with Hautterfly, Veer Pahariya opened up about getting trolled for his viral dance step from Sky Force song Rang. The young actor revealed that his engagement on social media increased ever since he was trolled for the step.

"My whole life I’ve looked up to actors who get trolled and who have lookalikes, and they become a meme. I have become a meme; can you imagine? I’m immortalized with this dance. Who knew me 20 days ago? Now if I do langdi here, they will recognise me," Veer said.

The Sky Force actor further noted that many opportunities opened up for him after his song went viral on social media. Veer has already performed at two weddings, where he performed his viral dance step.

"I did that langdi step with the bride. He further joked with the groom, saying, ‘This is my fifth round. If I do two more, the bride will be mine'. So many work opportunities have opened because people now know who I am," he added.

Meanwhile, Veer starred alongside Akshay Kumar, Nimrat Kaur, and Sara Ali Khan in his debut film, Sky Force. The film collected Rs 129.95 crore in India. Once the film's theatrical run ends, it will head for its digital premiere on a streaming platform. However, the makers are yet to announce the official OTT release date and platform.
