Veer Pahariya, currently seen in Sky Force, has opened up about his parents' divorce for the first time. The actor revealed how it affected him in childhood.

Veer Pahariya made his big Bollywood debut with Sky Force. The actor shared screen space with Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan, and Nimrat Kaur in the film. Directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani, Sky Force hit the big screen on January 24, 2025. During the film's promotions, Veer opened up about his personal life. The actor broke his silence on his parents' divorce for the first time. He is the son of business tycoon Sanjay Pahariya and his ex-wife Smriti Sanjay Shinde.
In an interview, Veer Pahariya revealed how his parents' divorce deeply affected him in his childhood. The Sky Force actor said it is not good for any child when their parents separate. It was hard for Veer to understand what was happening around him as there was no social media back in the day.
"It was a very strange experience growing up. Newspapers were constantly publishing details about their court proceedings, and everything was on the internet. I felt ashamed to go to school and didn’t have many friends. I stayed away from people and was very nervous and underconfident as a child. I wish it doesn’t happen to anyone," he added.
Veer further shared that therapy and acting workshops helped him overcome the personal trauma in his life. Despite his parents' divorce, Pahariya still believes in love and marriage.
Produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios, Sky Force hit the big screen on January 24, 2025. The movie opened at Rs 15.30 crore at the box office. The aerial actioner minted Rs 26.30 crore at the ticket window followed by a collection of Rs 31.60 crore on day three. However, the movie fell flat on days four and five at the box office.
