Excel Entertainment for the last two weeks have been trying hard to create buzz around their next film and not let it fade. Starring Emraan Hashmi in the leading role, the makers of Lakshya have now made Ground Zero, a movie based on the real-life operations carried out by the BSF Jawans. The posters, trailer, and teasers have all landed decently well and the buzz is good for the Hashmi-led movie. Turns out the makers have now shared a new song from the film titled So Lene De and below is all you need to know about the same.

Ground Zero Song So Lene De Out

After leaving audiences awestruck with its intense trailer, Excel Entertainment now unveils the first song, So Lene De, from Ground Zero. This deeply emotional track captures the silent battles and unbreakable courage of those who serve the nation. It features Tigers star Emraan Hashmi. Ground Zero is inspired by true events based on the BSF’s best operation in the last 50 years.

Heard briefly at the end of the trailer, So Lene De struck a chord even in its few seconds — and now, as a full track, it echoes with patriotism, loss, and inner strength. Sung soulfully by Jubin Nautiyal and Afsana Khan, with moving lyrics by Vayu and an evocative composition by Tanishk Bagchi and Aakash Rajan, the song is a heartfelt salute to duty and sacrifice.

It’s more than just a song — it’s a feeling. One that lingers long after it ends. A powerful emotional anchor that reflects what Ground Zero stands for — resilience in the face of turmoil and the undying spirit of India’s defenders. With a seamless blend of action, emotion, and patriotism, Ground Zero explores themes of courage, sacrifice, and the unseen struggles faced by those who defend the nation.

About Ground Zero

Inspired by one of the Border Security Force's (BSF) most remarkable operations in the last 50 years, Ground Zero sees Emraan Hashmi step into the role of BSF Deputy Commandant Narendra Nath Dubey, leading a high-stakes, two-year investigation into a critical national security threat. The latest glimpse showcases Emraan in a fierce, battle-ready avatar, gripping a gun with unwavering intensity — promising an action-packed, emotionally charged narrative that cements Ground Zero as one of the most awaited films of the year.

Directed by Tejas Deoskar, the film is set to captivate audiences with its realistic portrayal of the military's challenges and the emotional toll it takes on its personnel. Featuring high-octane action sequences and a deeply engaging storyline, Ground Zero goes beyond the battlefield, delving into the personal sacrifices of those on the frontlines.

Excel Entertainment presents an Excel Entertainment Production, produced by Ritesh Sidhwani & Farhan Akhtar. Directed by Tejas Deoskar, the film is co-produced by Kassim Jagmagia, Vishal Ramchandani, Sundeep C Sidhwani, Arhan Bagati, Talisman Films, Abhishek Kumar, and Nishikant Roy. Ground Zero storms into cinemas on April 25, 2025.
