With the release of its new reality series Social Currency, Netflix India has given its viewers a glistening new reason to double-tap their excitement and go crazy with hashtags, comments, and shares. SOL Production Pvt. Ltd. presents the first-ever influencer survival challenge, in which eight popular figures from social media will have to start from scratch to demonstrate their "influence" in all facets of modern life. This is the viewers' chance to be in the front row as these technological powerhouses demonstrate their worth, shatter expectations, and steal the show from one another.
While making the announcement, Netflix India wrote on their Instagram page, "'Ab paisa nahi influence bolega!' Find out how power becomes paise in #SocialCurrency, arriving June 22nd, only on Netflix! #SocialCurrencyOnNetflix @solproductions_ @fazila_sol @kamnamenezes #SanvariAlaghNair @showrunnerchad @meghanabadola @the_parthsamthaan @bhavin_333 @thatindianchick_ @mridulmadhok @rowhi_rai @kuchbhimehta @ruhisingh12 @sakshichopraa."
Parth Samthaan, Bhavin Bhanushali, Ruhi Singh, Vagmita Singh, Rowhi Rai, Mridul Madhok, Sakshi Chopra, and Aakash Mehta are all on board for this thrilling adventure. These celebrities' digital charisma has wowed us, but can they survive the hardships that lie ahead? Will they be able to reestablish their credibility?
It's a winner-take-all battle for social dominance, and only the most astute influencers will emerge victorious.
This is Parth's fourth OTT outing after Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan Seasons 3 and 4, Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain 2, and Mai Hero Boll Raha Hu. Bhavin has been featured in Commando 3, Shubh Saanj, A.I.S.H.A.: My Virtual Girlfriend, and Vellapanti. Ruhi's OTT works include Spotlight, Parchhayee, Operation Cobra, Bang Baang, Chakravyuh, and Runaway Lugaai.
Meanwhile, Sakshi Chopra, who also features in Social Currency, is the daughter of Sagar Production director and producer Meenakshi Sagar and the great-granddaughter of the late Ramayan director Ramanand Sagar.
It's a fight to the finish as eight people with 'influence' try to show it by quitting a bad habit in just 21 days. On June 22, Social Currency will be available exclusively on Netflix.
