Architect-cum-actor Kamal Kamaraju has always been selective with his script choices right from his early years in the industry. Having made a mark in films like Avakai Biryani, Godavari, Kalavaramaye Madilo, the actor has proved his versatility over the years as a lead and a character artiste. After making a mark in Natyam recently, he’s back in action with a family drama Sodara Sodarimanulara.
Sodara Sodarimanulara marks the directorial debut of Raghupathi Reddy, who has also written the story. 1996 Dharmapuri actress Aparna Devi plays the female lead in the film produced by Vijay Kumar Paindla under 9Em Entertainments and iR Movies. The filming of the drama was wrapped up recently in a little over a month’s time, thanks to a taut script and meticulous planning from the makers.
Commemorating Republic Day, the first look of the film, featuring its leads Kamal Kamaraju and Aparna Devi, was unveiled today. The intense avatars of the actors pique your curiosity sans any doubt. The makers add, Sodara Sodarimanulara will be a realistic drama with relatable characters. The team is currently finishing all the post-production formalities at a brisk pace.
The drama is expected to release this summer. Madeen SK composes the music for the film which will have three songs. Mohan Chary cranks the camera for the project while Vamsi Krishna CH is the editor. Kalakeya Prabhakar, Prithviraj play other important roles in the film. Other details surround the film’s premise, cast will be announced shortly.
