Soham Chakraborty fell ill during election campaigning amid a heatwave

The ongoing heatwave caused a ruckus in Kolkata. With the election season on, the politicians and common people are being affected equally. Actor-turned-politician Soham Chakraborty fell ill in this heatwave while campaigning for the General Election. He was rushed to a hospital where he was admitted immediately.

Sources say that Chandipur's MLA Soham fell ill while campaigning in this heat nonstop. He had dehydration and a fever. His situation worsened and he was hospitalized on Sunday. How is he doing now? Soham’s team told the media, “Dada is doing better now. But he is under the doctors’ observation since he is weak. He will be discharged soon.” The doctors advised Soham to stay away from the phone. He will have to rest for a few days after coming back home.

Last week, Soham campaigned for the TMC in Malda and Murshidabad. The temperature increased in every district which made him ill. The fans are waiting for his speedy recovery.

Soham completed shooting the film Shastri with Mithun Chakraborty. Soham is the producer of the film. Besides, he recently completed the shooting of the film Felu Bakshi, where the Bangladeshi actress Pori Moni and Madhumita Sarcar also worked. Soham then got busy with the campaigning.
